Ballinger Announces the Second Annual Scholarship for Equity

Building spaces that shape the future requires a commitment to justice, equity, and inclusion. We are proud to once again announce that Ballinger’s Scholarship for Equity program aims to support our firm’s mission by bringing more BIPOC architects, engineers, and interior designers into the field.

Our program is designed to support students at several steps in their education, from the first year of college through graduation.

First Year Scholarship

A scholarship for students in their first year of college, pursuing a degree in architecture, interior design or engineering. The award includes two Ballinger mentors and an opportunity to shadow a professional in the awardee’s discipline of interest.

Transfer Scholarship

A scholarship for students transferring from a community college or technical school who have been accepted into an accredited program in architecture, interior design or engineering. Recipients will receive a paid internship and two Ballinger mentors.

Final Year Scholarship

A scholarship for students entering their last year of an accredited program in architecture, interior design or engineering. Recipients will receive a paid internship and two Ballinger mentors.
