Ballinger Associate Explores Computer Programming for Architects

Ballinger Associate Daniel Howard, AIA, computational design specialist and curious investigator of emerging technology, presented an overview of his research to an audience of fellow architects at the West Jersey chapter of the American Institute of Architects. His presentation, “How Architects Can Use Computer Programming for Design and Documentation or How to Automate the Boring Stuff in Architecture,” focused on the possibilities of programming to enhance design and automate tasks. He provided audience members with useful tools to take their design and documentation to new technological frontiers.
