Greenbuild Tour of American University Hall of Science
Share
Greenbuild attendees are invited to a half-day tour of American University’s campus, including the Ballinger-designed Hall of Science.
In 2015, American University asked Ballinger to design a vibrant, modern building to unify their Life Sciences disciplines under one roof and showcase their commitment to STEM education and sustainability. Through careful planning and simple, robust materials, Ballinger delivered a flexible, cost-effective home for the sciences that increases campus vitality, strengthens the University’s identity, and promises to support generations of researchers.
The Greenbuild International Conference is presented in partnership with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and brings together leaders in sustainable and regenerative building design. This year’s conference will be head in Washington, DC and will include a tour of the American University campus. Scheduled for Friday, September 29 from 1-4pm, the tour will showcase the University’s commitment to a sustainable future.
