Ballinger Explores Convergent Environments at Tradeline Conference

Ballinger Senior Principal Craig S. Spangler, AIA, along with lab planner Jeffrey Schantz and Bill Bentley, Founding Chair of the Fischell Department of Bioengineering at the University of Maryland, presented a case study at the Tradeline College and University Science Facilities 2014 conference. Their talk, titled “Bioengineering and Convergence Science at the University of Maryland,” described the cultural evolution of research themes and planning metrics, and how they’re embodied at A. James Clark Hall, a new engineering building at the University of Maryland, College Park.
