Roberto Carretero

AIA, LEED AP

“Architects share a passion for the design process. My process focuses on synthesizing our production tasks so that we can devote the bulk of our time to research and the development and refinement of ideas.”

Son of a contractor and a painter, Roberto Carretero was fated to become an architect. By the time he got to architecture school, he was keenly aware of the dedication and time needed to develop thorough design concepts. Today, as a senior project designer-architect at Ballinger, Roberto shepherds the design process from the formative stage to its full execution. He has led the design of successful projects such as Maxine Frank Singer Hall at Swarthmore College and the Biology building at Old Dominion University.
