Recipient of Ballinger’s 2023 Scholarship for Equity Named

Ballinger is pleased to announce that our annual Final Year Scholarship for Equity has been awarded to Alyssa Harris.

Alyssa is a member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe of the Massachusetts territory, and she credits her deep appreciation of design to artistic Wampanoag tribal traditions. Alyssa also draws inspiration from nature and its safeguarding, and she aspires to design beautiful, eco-friendly homes that connect their inhabitants to nature. Currently a senior at Suffolk University, Alyssa will graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design.

Ballinger’s Scholarship for Equity program aims to enhance equity in our industry and increase the pipeline of diverse talent in the fields of architecture, engineering, and interior design. We are proud to support Alyssa and other talented BIPOC students as they empower communities and lead the way toward the future of design.
